Job Description

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

Primary Skill: IBM DataStage, Oracle, SQL

Preferred: UI –Linux shell script, Autosys

Experience: Minimum 10 years

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide Level 2/Level 3 production support for IBM DataStage ETL applications.
Monitor daily ETL batch jobs and ensure successful completion within defined SLAs.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents, job failures, and data discrepancies.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures to avoid recurring issues.
Monitor data loads, file transfers, scheduler jobs, and downstream system integrations.
Coordinate with business users, application teams, database administrators, and infrastructure teams for issue resolution.
Support release deployments, production migrations, and post-implementation validations.
Handle service requests, incident tickets, problem tickets, and change requests in accordance with ITIL processes.
Develop and maintain operational runbooks, SOPs, support documentation, and knowledge articles.
