The Role • Conduct analysis and evaluations of submarine platform manoeuvring performance from concept design through in-service support. • Develop, verify, and validate mathematical manoeuvring models using physical model test data. • Collaborate with enterprise partners to advance modelling capabilities, processes, and toolsets. • Work with Naval Architecture teams and customers to deliver innovative and safe submarine solutions. • Support and conduct hydrodynamic sea trials. What You'll Need • Prior experience in generating ship or submarine manoeuvring models. • Strong understanding of hydrodynamic principles and methods. • Degree in Naval Architecture, Aeronautical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent relevant experience. • Experience working on major, complex submarine design and build programmes.
