About the opportunity

Netcom Training's government-funded Data Analysis course is your way into a career working with data. You'll learn to collect, clean and analyse real datasets, then turn them into insights people can actually use. No experience needed.

Course details

Duration: 11 weeks

Format: Online, practical workshops

Schedule: Mon-Thu, 6pm-9pm

What you'll learn

  • How organisations use data to make better decisions
  • Collecting, structuring and cleaning data for accuracy
  • Core statistical methods, including mean, median and variance
  • Spreadsheet tools like VLOOKUP, filtering and pivot tables, plus building clear visualisations

  • Data Technician: 24,000 - 28,000
  • Data Administrator/Data Assistant: 23,000 - 26,000
  • Junior Data Analyst: 26,000 - 31,000
