Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain databases.
- Provide 24x7/production support, monitoring, and incident resolution.
- Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
- Manage backup/recovery, replication, HA/DR, and failover activities.
- Troubleshoot database, Linux, storage, and application connectivity issues.
- Automate repetitive operational tasks and improve reliability.
- Support capacity planning and database infrastructure optimization.
Must-Have Skills
- Sybase DBA Preferred / Top Priority
- OR MS SQL Server DBA
- Strong Linux/Unix experience, especially for SQL Server candidates.
- Production database support experience.
- Performance tuning, backup/recovery, HA/DR, and troubleshooting.
- Strong incident management and problem-solving skills.
