Wealth Manager / Senior Wealth Manager
Location: Northampton
Salary: 40,000- 85,000 DOE + bonus
Hours: Full-time, permanent
Travel: Approximately 20-50% client visits
The Opportunity
We are recruiting for a Wealth Manager / Senior Wealth Manager on behalf of an established independent wealth management business based in Northampton.
The business is open to appointing at either level, depending on experience, qualifications and responsibility, with a salary of 40,000- 85,000 DOE plus bonus and benefits.
The Role
You will provide high-quality holistic financial advice to private clients, manage and develop existing relationships and contribute to growth through new clients and professional introducers.
Approximately 20-50% of your time will involve visiting clients, with the remainder primarily based in the Northampton office.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide holistic financial planning and wealth management advice to private clients.
- Manage and develop long-term client relationships, delivering a highly personalised service.
- Conduct client meetings, reviews and financial planning discussions.
- Develop relationships with new clients and professional introducers.
- Generate new business while maintaining a strong focus on existing client service.
- At Senior Wealth Manager level, take greater ownership of complex client relationships and support colleagues.
The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for someone who has:
- Experience as a Financial Adviser, Wealth Manager, Financial Planner or in a similar regulated advice role.
- Strong technical knowledge across financial planning and wealth management.
- Appropriate financial planning qualifications for your level of experience.
- Chartered status, or progress towards Chartered status, will be particularly relevant at Senior Wealth Manager level.
- A strong understanding of FCA requirements and the importance of high-quality, compliant advice.
What's on Offer?
- 40,000- 85,000 basic salary depending on experience and level.
- 25% new business bonus, paid monthly in the following year.
- 4% employer pension contribution, increasing to 6% after successful probation.
- 21 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
- 5,000 car benefit after successful probation.
