Job Description

CI/CD Administrator 

Columbus OH- Remote 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced CI/CD Administrator to join the team and play a critical role in modernizing IT infrastructure and software delivery processes.

Position Summary:
The CI/CD Administrator will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure — driving automation, improving software release frequency, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Azure DevOps
  • Administer and maintain Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) to support development workflows and collaboration
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible
  • Develop and maintain scripts/tools to streamline software build, testing, and deployment processes
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure
  • Collaborate with development, testing, and operations teams to improve software delivery processes
  • Implement and enforce security best practices within the CI/CD environment
  • Document CI/CD processes and configurations

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in CI/CD administration or DevOps engineering
  • Proven experience with GitHub, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and XebiaLabs
  • Strong knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) administration
  • Experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform and Ansible
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell)
  • Understanding of SDLC and DevOps principles
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform)
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks
  • Relevant certifications (Certified Jenkins Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert)
  • Experience working in a government or regulated environment
