Fire and Security Engineer

Fire & Security Engineer £43,000 to £47,000 Basic Salary + Package We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join an established and growing business. The role will involve working across a range of commercial and domestic sites, carrying out installation, servicing, maintenance, fault finding and commissioning across a variety of fire and security systems. The Role As a Fire & Security Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Servicing and maintaining fire and security systems
• Carrying out fault finding and repairs
• Installing and commissioning new systems
• Working on systems including fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV and access control
• Carrying out routine preventative maintenance
• Completing small works and system upgrades where required
• Liaising with customers and providing a professional level of service
• Completing service reports and relevant documentation
• Working independently and managing your own workload
• Ensuring all work is completed to the required technical and safety standards Systems Experience with one or more of the following systems would be beneficial:
• Fire Alarm Systems
• Intruder Alarm Systems
• CCTV
• Access Control
• Door Entry
• Other electronic security systems The Candidate The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience working within the Fire & Security industry and be confident working independently on customer sites. We are open to candidates with a strong background in either Fire, Security or both, depending on their experience. You should have:
• Previous experience as a Fire Engineer, Security Engineer or Fire & Security Engineer
• Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills
• Good customer service and communication skills
• A professional approach when dealing with customers
• A full UK driving licence
• The ability to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team Relevant manufacturer training, industry qualifications or experience with recognised systems would be advantageous. Package
