Technical Writer | McLean, VA, United States | On-site

We're hiring on behalf of a leading global technology and professional services company that delivers consulting, technology, and mission services across major U.S. government sectors. The Role

Create, update, and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, manuals, and operational procedures.
Develop and maintain comprehensive Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) to support project management and compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and subject matter experts, to gather technical information.
Ensure all documentation complies with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Review and edit existing documentation for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with current systems.
Maintain records of revisions and manage documentation repositories for accessibility and traceability.

What You'll Need

Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, English, or a related field (experience may substitute).
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
Familiarity with industry-standard writing styles or government-specific guidelines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to quickly understand and translate complex technical information into clear documentation.
Current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
