We are seeking a Principal AI Software Engineering Lead / IT Architect to drive the adoption of AI-powered software engineering platforms and agentic development capabilities across enterprise engineering teams.

The primary focus will be AI-assisted software development, engineering productivity transformation, developer tooling strategy, and autonomous engineering workflows using platforms such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and emerging AI coding agents.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in software architecture, backend engineering, cloud-native platforms, distributed systems, APIs, and AI-assisted development workflows, along with the ability to establish engineering standards, governance, evaluation frameworks, and adoption strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and benchmark AI software engineering platforms including Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and emerging agentic development tools.

Define and implement AI-assisted software engineering standards, best practices, governance, and adoption frameworks.

Identify and execute high-value AI engineering pilot initiatives.

Design and promote agentic development workflows, specification-driven development, and autonomous engineering practices.

Measure developer productivity, software quality, SDLC efficiency, and engineering outcomes using data-driven metrics.

Create reference architectures, implementation patterns, and engineering guidance for AI-native software development.

Partner with software architects, engineering managers, product teams, and platform teams to integrate AI capabilities into the development lifecycle.

Evaluate security, compliance, and governance considerations related to AI coding tools and developer workflows.

Mentor engineering teams on effective use of AI-powered development tools and modern engineering practices.

Drive initiatives to accelerate delivery, improve code quality, reduce technical debt, and enhance developer experience.

Evaluate emerging AI engineering technologies and industry best practices with vendors and strategic partners.

Contribute to engineering strategy, roadmap planning, technology selection, and long-term AI transformation initiatives.

Lead technical workshops, architecture discussions, proof-of-concepts, and engineering enablement activities.

Present recommendations, findings, pilot results, and strategic roadmaps to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of relevant software engineering/architecture experience.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Hands-on NVIDIA experience is required.

Hands-on experience with AI-assisted software engineering and developer productivity platforms.

Experience with Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar AI coding tools.

Strong Java/Spring Boot and Python development experience.

Strong knowledge of distributed systems, APIs, integration services, and cloud-native platforms.

Experience with software architecture and modern engineering best practices.

Experience with prompt engineering and agentic development workflows.

Experience defining or using engineering metrics and productivity measurements.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Strong communication, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with specification-driven development.

Exposure to robotics, Physical AI, simulation, or digital twin technologies.

Experience with AWS and/or Azure.

Experience with developer experience platforms and DevOps.

Technical leadership and design review experience.
