The Role

• Lead system administration for both Linux and Windows-based systems in secure, mission-critical environments.
• Architect, manage, and maintain complex server, storage, and virtualization infrastructure (VMware, KVM).
• Perform OS installation, configuration, hardening, and patching in compliance with security standards and policies.
• Monitor and tune system performance, conduct root cause analysis for complex issues, and implement efficient resolutions.
• Oversee and maintain automation scripts and infrastructure as code for enhanced operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, network engineering, and development teams to ensure compliance and optimize performance.

What You'll Need

• US citizenship and an active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience) with 8-12 years of experience.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II or III certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CASP+, CISSP).
• Proven experience with Linux and Windows Server administration, virtualization platforms, and automation/scripting tools.
• Familiarity with security compliance, system hardening, and RMF processes.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking, identity management, and storage concepts.
