Job description

Long View. A career that helps you get more out of life.
A Long View career helps you get more out of life. We don’t just say it, we prove it. Every day. We’re proud of our reputation as one of North America’s most dynamic IT providers — and we’re even prouder of our culture that allows our people to live life to its fullest. At Long View, we create an environment of collaboration and support, of innovation and enthusiasm, of inclusion and belonging. As a member of the Long View team, you’ll see how our company’s core pillars — Integrity, Competence, Value, and Fun — resonate through the workplace. And in a recent survey, 89% of Long View team members rated Long View as a good or great place to work!

Are you excited about leading the development of compelling proposals that showcase innovative solutions and measurable client value? Do you enjoy partnering with Sales and technical experts to create winning submissions while managing complex projects from kickoff to completion?

At Long View, our proposals tell powerful stories—about our people, our solutions, and the value we bring to our clients. As a Proposal Specialist, you will own the end-to-end proposal lifecycle, partnering closely with Sales and Technical Subject Matter Experts to create compelling, high-quality proposals that help us win meaningful work. This role will ideally be based out of Calgary, however we are open to candidates in Edmonton, Toronto or Vancouver.

Proposals may range from concise responses to complex submissions, and your ability to bring clarity, structure, and a strong narrative to each one will be key to your success. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys balancing creativity with precision.

This is a 12-month contract covering a maternity leave. There is a chance of extension or conversion to permanent closer to the end date.
