Database Engineer II with Security Clearance

* Proficient in Modern Technologies: Skilled in using contemporary frameworks and tools for database development and management A Day in the Life: * Develop and maintain database structures that fit seamlessly into the overall system architecture
* Lead the creation of new workflows to replace existing manual processes, enhancing efficiency
* Provide technical expertise for database design, implementation, and data analysis
* Support the development and testing of Python-based ReST endpoints and microservices using Django and Flask frameworks
* Interact with databases such as MariaDB, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL to send data in JSON format to UI front ends Must Haves: * TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
* Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Database Engineer in similar programs and contracts
* Proficiency in Python and experience with databases like MongoDB or MariaDB
* Experience using Django or Flask for web application development
* Understanding of ReST endpoints and microservice architecture Nice to Have: * Familiarity with Swagger for API documentation
* Experience with AWS, C2S, or other cloud computing environments
* Knowledge of Docker for containerization
* Proficiency with IDEs like Visual Studio Code
* Understanding of JSON and XML serialization
* Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Git version control
