Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Frisco, TX that is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee construction, renovation, and capital improvement projects across a portfolio of commercial properties. This role is responsible for managing projects from initial assessment through completion, including scope development, budgeting, vendor selection, construction oversight, and closeout. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously while partnering with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. This position includes regular field visits to support property assessments, monitor project progress, and ensure quality execution.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage construction and capital improvement projects from planning through closeout
* Conduct site assessments and identify repair, maintenance, and improvement needs
* Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and procurement strategies
* Solicit, review, and evaluate vendor and contractor bids
* Coordinate contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders throughout execution
* Monitor project budgets, schedules, quality, and contract compliance
* Review change orders, invoices, and project documentation
* Provide regular project status updates and risk assessments
* Support multiple properties and projects simultaneously across the assigned territory
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of construction project management, facilities project management, or capital projects experience
* Experience managing multiple concurrent projects across multiple locations
* Strong knowledge of construction practices, building systems, and project execution methodologies
* Experience with contractor management, procurement, RFP processes, and vendor negotiations
* Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and project risks
* Ability to review construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools
* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally to project sites
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field
* Experience supporting multi-site commercial real estate portfolios
* Background in commercial construction, retail construction, facilities capital projects, or property improvement programs
* Experience with budgeting, capital planning, and contractor performance management
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
