Mission Systems Support Engineers Multi Levels with Security Clearance

Job Description Keep critical mission systems ready when they matter most. Kryptauri is seeking a Mission Systems Support Engineer to provide Tier I/II technical support for an integrated watchfloor operating around the clock. You will serve as a central point of contact for operational users, troubleshoot technical issues, and coordinate incident resolution to sustain mission continuity. This role combines direct user support with technical experience across Linux, containerized environments, cloud deployments, and DevSecOps. It requires rotating shift coverage and availability for call-in support when critical operational issues arise.

Required Skills

• Eight years of experience encompassing software and system deployments, Linux system administration, containerization, cloud deployments, and DevSecOps.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science. Four additional years of experience may substitute for the bachelor's degree; a Master of Science in Engineering or Computer Science may substitute for two years of required experience.
• Experience within the past three years with Kubernetes, cluster orchestration, and containerization.
• Active IAT Level II certification meeting the stated CWIP/DoD 8570 requirement, such as Security+.
• Polygraph completed within the past seven years.
• Availability for the rotating shift schedule and 24/7 call-in support for critical operational issues.

Desired Skills

• Hands-on Linux administration experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CentOS, or comparable distributions.
• Python or Bash scripting experience.
• Experience deploying, supporting, or troubleshooting Docker containers.
• Practical experience supporting Kubernetes clusters and orchestrated container environments.
• Experience supporting cloud deployments and applying security-focused DevOps practices. Additional Details Multiple shifts available supporting 24/7 mission operations.
