The Role

• Fabrication of layer and disc windings for transformers and generators
• Assembly of individual windings into block units and placement onto the iron core
• Operation of horizontal and vertical winding machines
• Transport and positioning of heavy windings (up to 100 tons) utilizing overhead cranes

What You'll Need

• Completed apprenticeship in a metalworking or electrical field, or as a fitter or automotive mechanic
• Technical understanding and the ability to work precisely according to plans and specifications
• Willingness to work in a 3-shift system and overtime as needed
• Overhead crane operator certification; forklift license is advantageous
• Precise, independent, and flexible work ethic with strong teamwork skills
• No copper allergies
