CYBER SECURITY ENGINEER

Introduction:

Our client is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to safeguard the company''s computer systems and networks from cyber threats. The role involves monitoring networks for security breaches, implementing protective measures, and responding to incidents to mitigate potential damage. The Cyber Security Engineer will also be responsible for conducting educational programs to enhance general IT security awareness across the organization.

• Monitor networks for security breaches

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• Cyber Security expertise
• Experience with Firewalls
• Knowledge of Information Security
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Macintosh Operating Systems
• Familiarity with network protocols

Preferred Skills:

• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification
• Security Awareness training
• Analytical skills for identifying security risks

Ability to communicate effectively with management, peers, and subordinates within IT, as well as the customer community, is essential. This requires excellent verbal and written skills, as well as a high level of trust and discretion when dealing with sensitive issues.
