As a vital part of our resort operations team, the Engineering Supervisor plays a key role in managing a skilled maintenance staff and maintaining the high standards our guests expect. As a Engineering Supervisor, you will:
- Lead and inspire the maintenance team to keep all guest units and public areas in excellent condition.
- Collaborate closely with other departments to deliver fast, efficient, and seamless services.
- Train, develop, and support your team, fostering growth and excellence.
- Create balanced employee work schedules that meet business demands and respect individual needs.
- Assign daily tasks and jump in to assist when necessary.
- Responsible for maintaining an accurate inventory of resort assets (e.g., appliances, TVs, equipment) and communicating supply needs to ensure timely replenishment.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets our strict quality and safety standards.
- Handle staff performance discussions, resolve personnel issues, and conduct performance appraisals.
- Develop and maintain clear operational procedures and standards.
- Quickly address guest service requests and resolve any complaints with professionalism.
- Monitor equipment and facilities, proactively maintaining and repairing as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including OSHA, and report any incidents promptly.
- Perform maintenance duties alongside your team whenever necessary.
- Take on additional tasks that help keep the resort running at its best.

- Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Two years of related engineering experience.
- One year of supervisory experience.
- Basic computer skills, including use of word processing and spreadsheet programs.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrates good judgment when dealing with owners and staff members.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- On-call required.
