Front-End React Developer | £55-£65k

My client operates in the entertainment industry and is looking for a Front End React Developer to help to take them to the next level! Remote with the opportunity to work from one of their clients offices: Preston, Liverpool, Manchester or London
Role Summary:
You will play a pivotal role in the development team and thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment upholding industry best standards to help build stable solutions.

You will be a self-driven individual who is organised and possesses a high level of communication and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. You will have proven experience designing and developing production Front End applications within a team, including complex customer journeys such as checkout, with familiarity working closely with Back End developers, QA and other stakeholders to receive feedback. My client is seeking a passionate individual who looks to continually improve their skills, whilst keeping abreast of modern data pipeline technologies.

Essential Requirements

Minimum 2 years Commercial experience with React JS Framework. Familiar with modern JavaScript syntax and patterns
Experience developing within the JavaScript eco-system using tools such as NPM.

Demonstrable understanding of user experience (UX) best practice
Experience with GIT version control and GitHub
Consuming APIs and integrating with third party software
Testing, for example Vitest, Jest and Playwright
TypeScript experience
Experience managing asynchronous state in React
Demonstrate knowledge of security best practices
Ability to discuss technical solutions with team members and other stakeholders and provide innovative new ideas for solutions
Experience with Agile process
Desirable skills and knowledge:
Experience with Next.js for server-rendered, customer facing sites
Familiarity with Copilot, Cursor or other AI tools to increase efficiency
SEO for content-led pages, including metadata and indexable content
Maintain a high awareness of industry issues and trends, particularly in regard to accessibility, usability, and emerging technologies, and keep team members informed as appropriate
Integration of AI into a customer facing product
Nice to have experience:
AWS
Docker and containerised
Error monitoring such as Sentry
Building or maintaining a shared UI component library
ElasticSearch
PHP/MySQL
Shared packages in a monorepo
Basic Disclosure under the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) procedures required
