Animal Services Operations Assessment Consultant

AlphaGov is engaging an Animal Services Operations Assessment Consultant for current city work. A city is assessing its animal services management and operations.

We confirm scope, schedule, and fee with you before any engagement begins.

What you'll do

- Assess shelter operations, staffing, intake, and outcomes

- Review animal control field services and policies

- Benchmark peers and recommend improvements

- Present to city leadership

- Contribute qualifications and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when you authorize naming

Required

- At least 5 years of professional experience in animal shelter or animal services management

- Operational assessment experience

- Comfortable as a 1099 project-based consultant

Nice to have

- Certified Animal Welfare Administrator (CAWA)

- Municipal shelter leadership

- Shelter medicine knowledge
