Position Summary
The GCCH M365 Audit & Automation Engineer is responsible for implementing automated
solutions that collect, transform, and deliver Microsoft 365 audit and operational data for
compliance reporting (within a GCC High environment) , security governance, and Power BI
KPI visualization. This role ensures that audit log pipelines across Teams, Exchange Online,
Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint/OneDrive, and Defender are accurate, secure, and optimized
for enterprise reporting. The engineer collaborates with cybersecurity, IT operations,
Security and analytics teams to support dashboards used throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain automation workflows fCH M365 services such as Exchange
Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Intune, and Entra ID.
Perform audits of M365 configurations, policies, permissions, and license usage to
ensure compliance.
Design remediation solutions based on audit findings using automation tools such as
PowerShell and Graph API.
Implement monitoring solutions to track configuration drift and enforce governance.
Optimize license usage, service configurations, and operational efficiency.
Provide documentation and reporting for audit outcomes and automation processes.
Export and structure audit datasets into CSV, JSON, or direct data sources for Power BI
dashboards.
Collaborate with data analysts and leadership to define KPI data requirements.
Maintain scheduled refresh pipelines feeding Power BI workspaces.
Validate data accuracy and resolve discrepancies between raw logs and dashboards.
Required Skills
Expert-level PowerShell automation skills.
Strong understanding of M365 workloads, specifically within GCCH environments
(SharePoint, Exchange, Teams, Intune, Entra ID).
Experience with Microsoft Graph API and modern authentication.
Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks.
Ability to interpret audit data and design corrective automation.
Strong documentation and reporting skills.
Desired Qualifications
Microsoft certifications such as SC-300, MS-102, SC-100, or AZ-900.
Experience with enterprise-level automation and orchestration systems.
