Network Security Engineer

Pay Range: $55/hr - $60/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage enterprise firewall environments and enforce network security policies.
• Conduct firewall rule reviews, cleanup initiatives, and remediation activities.
• Develop, maintain, and update firewall standards, procedures, and documentation.
• Plan, configure, and troubleshoot site-to-site VPN tunnels.
• Administer and optimize Imperva WAF deployments, expanding coverage and tuning policies.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for Palo Alto GlobalProtect VPN services.
• Participate in security assessments, incident response activities, and vulnerability remediation.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Bachelor's degree (minimum).
• 3-5 years of network security engineering experience.
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls.
• Firewall Governance & Administration.
• Firewall Standards & Documentation.
• Site-to-Site VPN Management.
• Web Application Firewall (Imperva).
• Remote Access & GlobalProtect Support.
• Security Operations & Continuous Improvement.
• Must have: At least one entry-level vendor certification in the Network Security arena (Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE preferred, Cisco CCNA/CCNP Security, Juniper JNCIA-SEC/JNCIS-SEC, etc.).
• Nice to have: At least one entry-level vendor-neutral certification in the Information Security arena (GICF, GSEC, CISA, CEH, etc.).
