Field Service Engineer - Boston - Attractive package

ALH Recruitment are looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer with immediate effect for our client based in the Boston area of Lincolnshire.

EV experience would be advantageous for this position.

Field Service Engineer

  • Attending sites across the UK, Including, Commercial and Private properties to fix EV DC Chargers.
  • Attending sites across the UK, Including, Commercial and Private properties to fix EV AC Chargers.
  • Compiling accurate and appropriate documentation for both Internal and external stakeholders in a precise and timely manner. Supporting product development.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertaking planned inspection and maintenance according to Technical and Manufacturer requirements. Performing proactive and reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis and resolution in a timely manner.
  • Testing and configuring DC chargers in the factory when required.
  • Troubleshooting reported faults from the office and talking through fixes with contractors/clients on site.
  • Testing product firmware, Apps and cloud integrations.
  • Provide documented feedback to R&D team.

Required Qualifications:

  • 18th Edition Electrical wiring regulations.
  • ECS Card
  • 2 years EV DC experience
  • 2391 Test and Inspection
  • OCPP protocol experience

A full and clean UK driving license, good customer support skills and good written and verbal communication skills.
