Sandbox Interactive is the ambitious game development studio behind the award-winning game Albion Online. The game is the first true cross-platform MMO, and is playable on Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS and Android with more than 350.000 daily players and over 2 million monthly visitors on our website. We started as a small independent group of experienced gaming professionals in 2012, and now employ an international team of more than 100 people. Your Game
As Senior Art Producer, you’ll lead and continuously evolve our Art and Content production pipelines, ensuring the reliable and timely delivery of high-quality assets across our live game development.
Beyond managing day-to-day production, you’ll take a strategic role in improving processes, workflows, tools, reporting, and collaboration models. You’ll strengthen the connection between the Art department and our cross-functional feature teams, creating greater transparency around capacity, priorities, dependencies, progress, and delivery confidence for Art leadership, Game Producers, Feature Owners, and Production leadership.
You’ll also take ownership of our external art production and outsourcing pipeline, building scalable and reliable partnerships with external vendors—from sourcing and pitches through briefing, feedback, and final delivery.
As a senior member of Production team, you’ll help raise the overall maturity of Art Production by establishing best practices and guiding and mentoring other Art Producers.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Art Production across concept, 2D/3D, character & environment art, animation, VFX, level design, and audio, ensuring assets are delivered on time and at the required quality
Drive process and workflow improvements to increase the efficiency, predictability, and scalability of Art Production
Strengthen collaboration with feature teams, aligning Art capacity, priorities, dependencies, quality expectations, and delivery timelines with development needs
Improve planning and transparency through effective Jira structures, dashboards, reporting, capacity planning, and estimation analysis
Lead Art outsourcing, including vendor sourcing and evaluation, pitches, briefing, feedback cycles, delivery management, and vendor relationships
Identify and manage production risks and bottlenecks, proactively driving solutions and continuously improving ways of working
Guide and mentor Junior Art Producers, establishing consistent production practices and supporting their professional development
Your Talent
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in game or art production, with substantial experience owning complex Art, Content, or creative production pipelines across multiple disciplines and development phases
Strong experience coordinating cross-functional production, balancing creative requirements, capacity, dependencies, quality, and delivery targets
Proven track record of improving production processes and workflows, using production data and tools such as Jira and Confluence to improve planning, tracking, and predictability
Strong experience with outsourcing and external vendor management, from vendor selection and briefing through feedback, delivery, and relationship management
Strong leadership and stakeholder-management skills, including mentoring producers, driving production best practices, challenging existing processes, and clearly communicating risks and trade-offs
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines and with leadership
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working on MMORPGs, live-service games, or other large-scale online titles
Experience producing content across PC, console, and mobile
Experience establishing or scaling an Art outsourcing strategy or external production pipeline
Experience working within cross-functional feature teams with end-to-end ownership of feature delivery
