Experienced Carpenter

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Carpenter to join our construction team based in Thayne, WY. We work primarily in Star Valley with an occasional project in Teton Co. WY. We've specialized in building residential custom homes, barns, additions, and remodels since 2007.

In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of carpentry tasks on residential projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to building, remodeling, and restoring structures with precision and efficiency. • Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects.
• Performs basic layout work for new construction sites and /or remodels.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and other construction materials using hand tools and power tools for woodworking.
• Installs and sets floor joists, frames floor, and building the sub-floor.
• Building exterior/interior walls, including framing windows and doors.
• Layout and build stairs.
• Hang doors and install windows.
• Able to set trusses and sheath a roof.
• Capable in Trim work- detail oriented.
• Loads and unloads materials and supplies from truck/trailers at job site.
• Ensure all work complies with safety protocols including power tool safety standards while managing heavy lifting and working at heights when necessary.

• Maintain a clean and organized work site while adhering to all safety regulations related to construction site experience.
  Qualifications

• 4 years or more experience in residential carpentry with a strong background in framing, trim carpentry, and fixture installation.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools as well as power tools.
• Able to lift and carry materials like plywood, framing lumber, siding materials.
• Ability to operate woodworking machines safely and efficiently.
• Experience with heavy lifting equipment is a plus.
• Commitment to safety protocols and keeping a clean job site.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
• Must provide basic hand tools; specialty tools are provided by the employer.
• Fluent in verbal and written English.
