Job Description

Are you an experienced IT Support Analyst looking to join a creative, collaborative and design-led environment?

Our client is a highly regarded national architecture practice with an excellent reputation for delivering award-winning projects across a range of sectors. They are now looking to appoint an IT Support Analyst to join their Manchester studio, providing vital technical support to users across multiple UK offices.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a varied, hands-on role within a busy, people-focused environment. You'll be part of a close-knit IT team, supporting around 50–400 users across several offices and playing a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the practice's IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing 1st to 3rd line IT support across multiple UK offices.
  • Troubleshooting a wide range of hardware and software issues.
  • Installing, configuring and supporting desktops, laptops, mobile devices and peripherals.
  • Supporting business systems, servers and network infrastructure.
  • Managing helpdesk tickets and prioritising support requests effectively.
  • Assisting with user onboarding, hardware builds and PC imaging.
  • Working closely with the wider IT team to deliver a high level of technical support and service.

Skills and Experience

  • A minimum of two years' experience within an IT Support or IT Analyst role within architecture, design, construction or engineering
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 11, Windows Server 2022, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, PowerShell and PC imaging.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Teams.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and Autodesk Revit/AutoCAD is essential, with Bentley software experience also highly desirable.
  • Microsoft or other relevant IT certifications would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload.
  • A proactive attitude and a genuine passion for delivering excellent customer support.
  • Previous experience within an architectural, design or creative practice would be highly advantageous.
