TCI Maintenance – Experienced Diesel & Reefer Technician

If you are an experienced Diesel Mechanic with Reefer repair experience, an expert touch, and attention to detail, WE WANT YOU!

We are looking for an experienced technician with 6+ years of Diesel Engine Repair experience PLUS Reefer Trailer repair experience. EPA 608/609 Certification is required.

Pay

$38.53 – $43.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience

Shift

Monday through Friday | 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM

Position Overview

The Technician will generally assist in the repair and diagnosis of major components or remove/replace major components of various truck, trailer, and refrigerated trailer equipment at the direction of the Lead Technician or Maintenance Supervisor.

Expectations include the ability to diagnose and repair the following with little or no supervision:

• Diesel engines and major components

• Reefer Trailer / Transport Refrigeration Systems

• Refrigeration and A/C systems

• Clutches

• PTO Systems

• Electrical Systems

• Hydraulic/Air Brake Systems

• Heating/Air Conditioning Systems

• Instruments and Gauges

• Preventive Maintenance Services

Technicians are measured on their efficiency and ability to complete quality repairs within established time standards.

Minimum Requirements

• 6+ years of Diesel Engine Repair experience

• Reefer Trailer / Transport Refrigeration repair experience required

• EPA 608/609 Certification required

• Experience diagnosing and repairing refrigeration systems preferred

• Must possess a valid driver's license

• Self-motivated with strong leadership skills

• Ability to diagnose and complete advanced repairs with little or no supervision
