Job Description

Title: Senior Quality Engineer – Mobile & API Testing 
Location: Toronto , ON (Hybrid- 3 days a week) 
Type: Long-term Contract 

Role Overview 

We are looking for a curious, detail-oriented Senior Quality Engineer with strong hands-on experience in exploratory and functional testing, particularly across native mobile applications and APIs. The ideal candidate combines strong manual testing fundamentals with hands-on automation experience using Python and Appium. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Perform exploratory, functional, regression, and end-to-end testing of applications. 

  • Test native iOS and Android mobile applications across devices and OS versions. 

  • Design and execute comprehensive API testing scenarios. 

  • Develop and maintain API test automation using Python. 

  • Build and maintain Mobile UI automation using Appium. 

  • Identify, document, troubleshoot, and track defects through resolution. 

  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and QA teams to improve overall product quality and test coverage. 

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and automation. 

Must-Have Skills 

  • 6+ years of Manual/Functional Testing experience 

  • Deep hands-on Native Mobile Testing – iOS & Android 

  • Strong API Testing experience 

  • Hands-on Python API Automation 

  • Strong Appium Mobile UI Automation 

  • Strong exploratory testing and debugging skills 

Relevant Technology Environment 

Appium, Python, Pytest, Cucumber, Jira, Xray, Jenkins, Xcode, Android Studio, TestFlight, Kibana, iOS and Android.
