Responsibilities
- Supporting class teachers in the planning and delivery of lessons, ensuring all students are fully engaged and supported.
- Delivering lessons and leading small groups of students in focused learning activities to promote progress in key areas.
- Assisting with the assessment of students' learning and helping to monitor progress against individual goals.
- Providing support to students with additional learning needs, ensuring they receive the necessary interventions to succeed.
- Supporting the management of classroom behavior, helping to maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
Experience and Qualifications
- An experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) with a passion for education and supporting children’s learning.
- Ability to deliver lessons and work independently with small groups of students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Previous experience working in a school setting, with a strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
- A clear DBS check
- Legal right to work within the UK
