Responsibilities

  • Supporting class teachers in the planning and delivery of lessons, ensuring all students are fully engaged and supported.
  • Delivering lessons and leading small groups of students in focused learning activities to promote progress in key areas.
  • Assisting with the assessment of students' learning and helping to monitor progress against individual goals.
  • Providing support to students with additional learning needs, ensuring they receive the necessary interventions to succeed.
  • Supporting the management of classroom behavior, helping to maintain a positive and productive learning environment.

Experience and Qualifications

  • An experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) with a passion for education and supporting children’s learning.
  • Ability to deliver lessons and work independently with small groups of students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Previous experience working in a school setting, with a strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
  • A clear DBS check
  • Legal right to work within the UK
