Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Location: UK & Ireland (Multi-site Travel Required)
12-Month FTC

Are you an experienced infrastructure engineer looking to take technical ownership of a complex enterprise environment? We're recruiting a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to support and enhance critical IT infrastructure across multiple UK & Ireland locations, ensuring high availability, resilience, security, and performance.

Working closely with business stakeholders, global IT teams, and external partners, you'll play a key role in delivering infrastructure solutions that support both commercial and manufacturing operations.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading enterprise infrastructure services across multiple sites.
  • Managing virtualisation, compute, storage, backup, and recovery platforms.
  • Providing technical leadership and senior-level escalation support.
  • Driving infrastructure improvements, resilience, and performance optimisation.
  • Supporting cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives.
  • Mentoring engineers and contributing to infrastructure projects and transformation programmes.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong enterprise infrastructure experience within complex IT environments.
  • Expertise in Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure AD, VMware, and enterprise networking.
  • Experience with backup, disaster recovery, storage, and data protection solutions.
  • ITIL Foundation (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Technical leadership experience and a passion for mentoring others.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between company locations.
