Our Tier 1 Banking client is seeking an experienced DB2 for z/OS Specialist to join their team on a long-term contract engagement.

Key Responsibilities

As a DB2 for z/OS Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Performing database capacity planning and performance management.
• Working closely with technical, application, and operational teams to ensure database integrity, availability, and security.
• Managing database security controls and supporting disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Supporting and managing distributed DB2 connections across enterprise environments.
• Monitoring and maintaining DB2 for z/OS environments to ensure optimal performance and stability.
