Registered Nurse NICU

• Schedule: PRN | Nights

• Deliver hands-on patient care and execute physician and nursing orders following organizational protocols.
• Implement, monitor, and adjust individualized patient care plans.
• Continuously track, document, and report changes in patient conditions to the healthcare team.
• Serve as the primary lead coordinating care across all clinical disciplines.
• Assess post-care needs and collaborate with the healthcare team to prepare patients for discharge.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Required Credential(s):

• Licensed Compact State Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

One or more of the following:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Instructor specializing in Basic Life Support obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

One or more of the following:

• Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

• Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program credentialed from the S.T.A.B.L.E. Program obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

• Instructor specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

• Instructor specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
