Automotive GM Certified Service Technician

Conklin Automotive Group is looking for a skilled Automotive GM Certified Service Technician to join our renowned service team. As a GM Certified Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic, repair, and maintenance work on General Motors vehicles. Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems on GM vehicles according to manufacturer specifications
• Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues and develop effective repair solutions
• Communicate repair requirements and maintenance recommendations to customers clearly and professionally
• Stay up-to-date with GM training, certifications, and industry advancements
• Support a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety standards
• Collaborate effectively with service advisors and other technicians to ensure customer satisfaction

• High school diploma or equivalent; GM certification is required
• Proven experience as a Service Technician, preferably with GM vehicles
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Effective communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
