Role Overview
This position will play a key leadership role in supporting KPMG’s enterprise-wide SAP transformation program. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading the architecture, infrastructure, DevOps, environment management, and deployment strategies for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud landscapes.

 

The role requires strong hands-on experience with SAP Public Cloud infrastructure and DevOps, along with the ability to lead platform/infrastructure teams through complex SAP implementations and transformation initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities
Lead the architectural design, setup, and engineering decisions for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud environments.
Design and manage SAP Public Cloud infrastructure and related ecosystem components.
Work extensively with Central Business Configuration (CBC), SAP BTP Integration Suite, Identity Management, and SAP Cloud ALM.
Translate architectural requirements into scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions.
Develop and manage DevOps configurations, CI/CD pipelines, source control, and deployment strategies.
Support SAP extensions and custom code deployments across multiple environments.
Manage 3-System Landscape (3SL) environment promotion strategies.
Coordinate system merges, re-baselining activities, and test data refreshes.
Manage parallel implementation tracks and complex release strategies.
Establish and enforce infrastructure standards, governance, and technical controls.
Collaborate closely with functional, integration, data, security, and development teams to ensure end-to-end solution alignment.
Provide technical leadership to infrastructure/platform teams during large-scale SAP transformations.
Support multi-country deployments and multi-track SAP implementations.
Oversee SAP licensing operations, including usage governance, demand forecasting, and platform optimization.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of recent SAP experience.
Minimum 3+ years of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Infrastructure/DevOps experience.
Minimum 5+ years of experience with ECC or HANA on-premises environments.
Strong experience leading SAP infrastructure or platform teams.
Proven experience with large-scale SAP transformation programs.
Strong knowledge of SAP Public Cloud DevOps practices.
Hands-on experience developing and managing CI/CD pipelines for SAP/BTP extensions.
Strong understanding of Git/source control and SAP S/4HANA configuration and transport management.
Strong understanding of SAP Public Cloud architecture and integration patterns.
Hands-on experience with Central Business Configuration (CBC).
Strong experience managing 3-System Landscapes (3SL).
Experience with Parallel Landscape Management (PPL) and complex release strategies.
Practical experience with SAP Cloud ALM.
Experience with key-user and developer extensibility.
Experience supporting multi-country and multi-track SAP implementations
