Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Power BI Developer to design, develop, and deliver advanced BI solutions as part of a data platform migration from Azure SQL-based ETL systems to Microsoft Fabric.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Power BI, DAX, semantic modeling, SQL, data warehousing, and BI platform migrations, along with the ability to work closely with business and technical stakeholders.

Must-Have Skills

• Proven experience migrating reports and dashboards from Tableau or other BI platforms to Power BI.

• Strong hands-on expertise in Power BI, DAX, and semantic model development.

• Strong understanding of Power BI data modeling and best practices.

• Advanced SQL scripting and knowledge of data warehousing concepts.

• Experience with data analytics, visualization, and KPI development.

• Experience working with Microsoft Fabric or modern data platform environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, semantic models, and data models.

• Support BI and data platform migration initiatives within the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem.

• Develop analytics solutions aligned with business objectives and user requirements.

• Define and implement KPIs and performance metrics.

• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and business insights.

• Gather requirements and collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams.

• Optimize Power BI reports, semantic models, DAX measures, and queries for performance.

• Follow Power BI and Microsoft Fabric best practices and continuously improve existing solutions.

• Maintain technical documentation covering data models, transformations, deployment processes, and user guides.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.

• Strong experience as a Power BI Developer with successful BI/analytics implementations.

• Hands-on experience with Power BI, DAX, Power Query, SQL, and data modeling.

• Experience developing BI products and user-focused analytics solutions.

• Strong understanding of KPIs, performance measurement, and data visualization.

• Experience with relational databases and enterprise data warehousing.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
