Position: Data Architect

Contract Structure: 6-month contract-to-hire.

Overall Profile

Looking for a highly seasoned architect with deep expertise in SQL, Snowflake, traditional data warehousing, data modeling, and data architecture. This person should be able to think beyond specific technologies, quickly understand new platforms and projects, and architect comprehensive solutions across both data and software/application environments. They should bring a strong traditional foundation while also having a modern, progressive mindset around AI and emerging technologies.

• Must-Have Technical Skills: Strong SQL and Snowflake experience are definite requirements. From a data architecture standpoint, the focus is more on the candidate’s overall depth of knowledge and architectural mindset than experience with every specific technology. The ideal candidate can quickly learn a new technology or project, break it down, and determine how the pieces fit together.
• Experience Level: This is a senior-level position and is not suited for an intermediate or junior candidate. Targeting someone with approximately 20 years of experience or comparable depth of expertise.
• Architecture Background: A strong background in software architecture, solution architecture, enterprise architecture, or data architecture is highly valuable. Software architecture experience is not specifically required, but the strength and breadth of the candidate’s architectural background should demonstrate an ability to brainstorm, design, and build comprehensive solutions. This could include solving challenges on the data, data modeling, or programming/application side.
• Industry Experience: Healthcare experience. A strong financial background within a clinical or healthcare environment
