Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced PostgreSQL Developer DBA with strong expertise in PostgreSQL administration, database development, cloud database migrations, and AWS infra structure. The candidate should have hands-on experience migrating Oracle/SQL Server databases to PostgreSQL and working with AWS database services, Infrastructure as Code, performance tuning, security, and production cutovers.

·         Strong hands-on experience in PostgreSQL administration and development.

·         Experience migrating databases from Oracle and/or SQL Server to PostgreSQL.

·         Strong experience with AWS Aurora PostgreSQL and Amazon RDS PostgreSQL.

·         Experience using AWS SCT for schema and database conversion.

·         Experience with AWS DMS, including Full Load and Change Data Capture (CDC).

·         Strong PL/pgSQL development experience.

·         Experience with schema conversion and stored procedure remediation.

·         Strong database performance tuning and optimization skills.

·         Experience implementing database security, RBAC, and access controls.
