Electronics Engineer

Electronics Engineer | Cambridge | Up to £55,000 Our client is an established, technology-led engineering organisation with a global customer base across defence, security, industrial and advanced sensing markets.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electronics Engineer to play a key role in bringing innovative products from development into scalable, repeatable manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities +Collaborate with R&amp;D teams to ensure PCB assemblies are designed for reliable and efficient manufacture.<br />+Conduct DFMEA activities early in the development process to identify and mitigate design risks.<br />+Identify opportunities to improve manufacturability, testability, and production efficiency.<br />+Liaise with PCB manufacturers and suppliers to understand manufacturing capabilities and constraints.<br />+Support electronic design activities throughout NPI projects, ensuring products are ready for build, scale-up, and customer delivery.

Required Skills &amp; Experience +Degree qualified in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.<br />+Proven electronics design experience using PCB CAD tools such as Altium Designer.<br />+Strong understanding of Design for Manufacture (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Design for Test (DFT) principles.<br />+Experience supporting products through prototype, validation, and production transition.<br />+Strong knowledge of PCB assembly processes, electronic integration, and production test methodologies.
