Job Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Proofpoint L2 Analyst to join their cybersecurity operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring email security events, investigating phishing and malware alerts, and coordinating incident response and escalations in a fully onsite environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor Proofpoint security alerts and email threat activity
• Investigate phishing, spoofing, spam, and malware-related incidents
• Analyze email headers and email security indicators
• Perform alert triage and incident validation
• Document findings and support remediation activities
• Escalate advanced threats and platform-related issues to L3 teams
• Generate incident and threat trend reports
