Software Engineers

We are partnering with an innovative and fast growing organisation that is expanding its development team. They are looking for multiple skilled Software Engineers to join their Sydney based team. About the Role

Our client is seeking Mid to Senior Software Engineers with experience in JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular (or React/Vue), and Node.js to develop and maintain high performing applications. You will be working within an Agile environment, designing and implementing microservices-based APIs, improving application security, and contributing to the overall architecture.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop scalable applications using TypeScript, Angular (or React/Vue), and Node.js
2. Design and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices with event-driven architecture
3. Write clean, maintainable, and testable front-end and back-end code
4. Ensure security best practices are followed in application development
5. Work collaboratively in an Agile team, participating in sprint planning and daily stand-ups
6. Improve CI/CD processes and support DevOps initiatives
7. Troubleshoot and support production applications as needed

What We're Looking For

1. Mid and Senior level Engineers in a similar role
2. Strong commercial experience with TypeScript and Node.js
3. Front-end experience with Angular, React, or Vue.js
4. Understanding of microservices architecture and API development
5. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices
6. Knowledge of software security best practices

Desirable Skills & Experience

1. Experience in financial services, fintech, or a regulated industry
2. Exposure to AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, EKS, SQS, and RDS
3. Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL
4. Understanding of event driven architecture and message queues
5. Familiarity with UI state management such as RxJS and NgRx
6. Experience with testing frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or Jest
