Job Description

Our client is a prominent international financial institution. To support their growing operational activities, we are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented:

Back Office Analyst

Role Overview : In this role, you will play a key part in managing treasury operations, ensuring seamless account lifecycle management, and maintaining strict compliance with external regulations and internal procedures. You will act as a central point of contact for various internal departments and external counterparties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Tax & Compliance: Manage tax services for Treasury accounts, ensuring strict adherence to internal procedures and external regulatory requirements.
  • Account Management: Handle the end-to-end account opening and closing processes for Treasury accounts.
  • Counterparty Setup: Accurately and efficiently set up counterparties within the internal banking systems.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise daily with internal teams (Treasury, Compliance, Legal, and other Operational units) and external counterparties to resolve queries and ensure smooth processing.
  • Audit & Reporting: Maintain precise records and documentation to support audit trails and internal control purposes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively support process improvements and contribute to operational risk mitigation initiatives.

Required Experience & Technical Skills

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in banking operations or financial services, ideally within a Treasury back-office or post-trade environment.
  • Treasury Knowledge: Solid exposure to Treasury products (e.g., FX, MM, derivatives) and their operational implications.
  • Operational Expertise: Proven experience in account lifecycle management, counterparty onboarding, and post-trade environments (settlement, reconciliation, operational controls, and regulatory requirements).
  • Tax Processes: Familiarity with tax certification, relief at source, and reclaim processes for financial instruments.
  • IT Skills: Proficiency in using banking systems for account management and counterparty setup.
  • Languages: Very good command of English is mandatory.
