Job Description

Zerspanungsmechaniker / Werkzeugmacher (m/w/d) | Hamburg, Germany | On-site

This employer is a global leader in the manufacturing of wheels and casters, renowned for its commitment to quality and innovation. They are seeking a skilled Zerspanungsmechaniker / Werkzeugmacher to join their production team in Hamburg. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a world-class manufacturing operation.

The Role

  • Operate and load CNC turning machines for single and series production.
  • Manufacture workpieces from steel, cast iron, and plastic.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished parts using various measuring tools to ensure dimensional accuracy.
  • Set up, maintain, and care for machinery.
  • Perform program corrections as needed.
  • Adhere to cleanliness, order, and safety (SOS) standards.

What You'll Need

  • Completed apprenticeship as a Zerspanungsmechaniker or Werkzeugmechaniker.
  • Initial professional experience in metal cutting.
  • Familiarity with Siemens Sinumerik or Fanuc control systems is an advantage.
  • Experience with Mori Seiki, Weiler, or EMAG machines is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using measuring instruments.
  • Willingness to work in a 3-shift system.
  • Good German language skills.
