Location: SFO, CA (WFO)

Note: This is a Business Solution Analyst role with strong procurement domain expertise and technical understanding. It is not a developer, integration engineer, or procurement operations role.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Solution Analyst with experience in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes and procurement technology platforms. This role will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders, procurement teams, and engineering teams to design, implement, and optimize procurement solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess strong business analysis and solutioning capabilities, combined with a solid understanding of system integrations, APIs, and enterprise application ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Solution Design

• Partner with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Translate business needs into scalable solution designs and functional specifications.
• Map current-state and future-state procurement workflows.
• Identify process improvement opportunities across the P2P lifecycle.

Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Process Expertise

• Support and enhance procurement processes including:
• Purchase Requisitions
• Approval Workflows
• Vendor Onboarding
• Purchase Orders
• Invoice Processing
• Payment Workflows
• Ensure solutions align with procurement and finance business objectives.

Platform & Integration Management

• Work with Zip and related procurement applications to support business initiatives.
• Collaborate with technical teams to define integration requirements between Zip, ERP systems, and other enterprise applications.
• Understand and document:
• API interactions
• Data flows
• System dependencies
• Integration touchpoints
• Data mapping requirements

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Facilitate discussions between business, procurement, engineering, and product teams.
• Support solution implementation, testing, UAT, and rollout activities.
• Drive stakeholder alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or Solution Analyst.
• Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
• Experience working with procurement platforms such as:
• Zip
• Coupa
• SAP Ariba
• Oracle Procurement Cloud
• Ivalua
• Jaggaer
• Experience gathering requirements and creating functional documentation.
• Understanding of APIs, system integrations, and data flows.
• Experience working with ERP systems and enterprise applications.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting procurement transformation or digitization initiatives.
• Background in consulting, professional services, or enterprise technology environments.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
• Exposure to Source-to-Pay (S2P) and procurement operations.
