Job Description

Software Engineer

We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with a pioneering mindset - curious, motivated, and eager to make a real impact through their work.

You'll work closely with our founder and product team to ship features, scale systems, and push the limits of what technology can do.

This isn't just another engineering job: it's a chance to help build technology the world hasn't seen before - bettering the human experience at scale.

About us

Lyrebird Health is transforming the quality and accessibility of healthcare by automating clinicians' most time consuming tasks. Thousands of clinicians across many disciplines already use Lyrebird - and that number is growing every day.

They trust us to deliver a fast, reliable, and secure experience. We value that trust above all else and strive to earn it while continuing to amaze our users.

What You'll Work With
  • Frontend: TypeScript, React
  • Backend: TypeScript, Node.js
  • Infra: AWS, API Gateway, S3, Lambda, RDS
  • Tooling: GitHub, Terraform, LangChain, LangFuse, LangSmith
  • Bonus: Python (for ML pipelines), CI/CD, DevOps exposure
What We're Looking For
  • 4+ years of full stack experience (shipping production grade code)
  • Deep experience with TypeScript across both frontend and backend
  • Solid understanding of APIs, cloud infrastructure, and modern dev practices
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast moving environments
  • Clear communicator with a builder mindset
  • Bonus: experience in healthcare, regulated environments, or ML/LLM tooling

At Lyrebird, you won't just write code - you'll help shape the future of the human experience.

If you want to pioneer, to create, and to see your work touch lives directly, we'd love to hear from you.

We're building a team that reflects the diversity of the people who'll benefit from our work. We want Lyrebird to be a place where everyone feels safe, supported, and able to thrive. If you're from an underrepresented background in tech, we especially encourage you to apply - even if you don't meet every single requirement.
