The Role
• Contribute to the design and development of advanced systems within multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Design, implement, and test C applications in a real-time environment.
• Analyze signal processing algorithms, often developed in MATLAB, for porting and optimization.
• Port signal processing algorithms from MATLAB, Python, or C++ to C for multi-core processing environments.
• Optimize C code for Digital Signal Processing (DSP) applications to achieve real-time requirements.
• Develop Hardware-in-the-Loop (HITL) tests to validate signal processing algorithms.
What You'll Need
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 8+ years of software development experience, with strong C/C++ experience for embedded systems.
• Understanding of linear algebra, probability, and basic signal processing concepts.
• Familiarity with hardware-software interaction and basic computer architecture.
• Experience with build tools (e.g., GCC, CMake, Make) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience with software testing tools and methodologies.
