SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Reports Developer

ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Reports Developer to design, develop, and maintain SAC reports, dashboards, stories, and analytics solutions. The role will work closely with business and technical teams to translate reporting requirements into scalable, user-friendly solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain SAC Stories, dashboards, reports, and analytic applications.
  • Translate business requirements into effective SAC reporting solutions.
  • Build interactive reports using filters, KPIs, calculations, drill-downs, and visualizations.
  • Create proofs of concept (POCs), prototypes, and demos to demonstrate SAC capabilities and proposed solutions.
  • Present POCs and demos to business and technical stakeholders and incorporate feedback.
  • Develop calculated measures, dimensions, and reporting logic.
  • Connect SAC to SAP BW, S/4HANA, HANA, and other data sources.
  • Troubleshoot data, reporting, and performance issues.
  • Support SAC security, roles, teams, and data access controls.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on requirements, testing, and report enhancements.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Required

  • 3–7 years of hands-on SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) experience.
  • Strong experience developing SAC reports, dashboards, and Stories.
  • Strong finance domain knowledge
  • Experience with SAC live and/or import connections.
  • Experience working with SAP BW and/or S/4HANA.
  • Ability to create and present POCs, prototypes, and demos.
  • Strong understanding of BI, reporting, and data visualization concepts.
  • Ability to gather requirements and translate them into reporting solutions.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred

  • Retail, commercial, healthcare, or pharmacy experience.
  • SQL and ETL experience.
  • Exposure to SAC Planning, Data Actions, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with BW/4HANA, HANA, or CDS Views.
  • SAP Analytics Cloud certification.
