Job Description

Case Manager — Family Law, Probate, Guardianship & Estate Planning
Miami Family Law Group | On site, Miami, FL | $75,000 to $85,000 + quarterly bonus

At Miami Family Law Group, cases do not stall. We run a paperless, technology forward practice across family law, probate, guardianship, and estate planning, and we measure our work in three things: matter stages, tasks, and case status. When those are accurate and moving, clients are served well and the firm performs.

We are hiring a Case Manager to own that system. This is the person who sees a case slipping before anyone else does, gets it unstuck, and tells the right people why it happened. This role is fully on site at our Miami office, five days a week. It is a floor role by design: you need eyes on the team and the team needs access to you.

What you will own

  • Monitor matter stages across all four practice areas and keep every case progressing on schedule
  • Identify bottlenecks and stalled matters, then drive them to resolution
  • Hold the production team to case movement standards and KPI benchmarks
  • Maintain accurate matter records, case statuses, and milestone tracking in Clio
  • Build and run reports that give leadership a real time picture of firm performance
  • Flag at risk cases and escalate early, before deadlines or clients are affected
  • Audit workflows to find the gaps no one has noticed yet
  • Communicate issues, wins, and trends clearly to leadership and to the paralegal team

What you bring

  • Hands on experience with matter stages in family law, probate, guardianship, or estate planning
  • Command of the full case lifecycle from intake through closing
  • Fluency in a billable hour environment and comfort being measured on production metrics
  • Proficiency with legal practice management software; Clio strongly preferred
  • Organizational discipline and follow through that does not depend on reminders
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication across every level of the firm
  • The judgment to operate independently and the confidence to raise a problem early
  • Availability to work on site in Miami, Monday through Friday

You will stand out if you

  • Have supervised paralegals or led a case management team
  • Can read a workflow and immediately see what is missing
  • Present data to leadership with confidence and context
  • Move comfortably between firm wide trends and individual task detail
  • Have worked in a fully paperless, technology forward practice
  • Do your best work at volume and at speed

What we offer

  • $75,000 to $85,000 base, based on experience
  • Bonuses
  • A collaborative, technology driven environment with modern tools
  • Clear expectations, genuine accountability, and a defined path to grow
  • Colleagues who value people who deliver
  • Case management: 3 years (Required)
  • Family law: 3 years (Required)
  • Wills, trusts & estate law: 3 years (Required)
  • Law office: 3 years (Required)

Benefits include:

  • 401(k) with company match
  • Health insurance
  • Health Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
  • Life insurance
  • Short-term and long-term disability insurance
  • Educational course reimbursement
  • Paid time off (PTO)
  • Paid holidays
