Network Cloud Engineer

Location: New York, USA

Own the architecture, design, and network code pipeline for the EquityZen AWS network environment. Define topology, establish AWS Cloud WAN connectivity with banking client, and implement routing and security standards aligned with enterprise requirements.

Experience

7 10 years of AWS cloud network experience; Cisco network engineering experience (CCDE/CCNP-level knowledge).

Required qualifications

Experience designing AWS network topology and cloud connectivity.

Strong Cisco network engineering knowledge at CCDE/CCNP level.

Capability in network automation/code pipelines, routing, security standards, design reviews, capacity planning, and optimization.

Key responsibilities

Design AWS network topology and connectivity between AWS Cloud WAN and banking client infrastructure.

Establish routing and security standards consistent with enterprise network architecture and compliance requirements.

Develop and maintain the network code pipeline and repeatable configuration approach using approved tooling.

Design and validate network flows, security groups, and network ACL changes with application and security teams.

Produce design artifacts and support enterprise design reviews and approvals.

Assess network capacity and optimization needs and resolve design issues with operational engineers.

Support implementation validation, migration, cutover, and design handover to network operations.

Expected deliverables

Network topology, connectivity designs, and routing/security standards.

Version-controlled network configuration and code-pipeline artifacts.

Capacity/optimization assessments, design-review evidence, and operational handover.

Desired qualifications

Experience designing AWS Cloud WAN

connectivity and cloud-to-on-premises network integration.

Experience building version-controlled network configurations and automated deployment pipelines.

Experience with enterprise routing/security standards, capacity planning, design reviews, and operational handover.

Preferred certifications

One or more of the following certifications is desirable. Certifications are preferred, not mandatory, and do not replace demonstrated hands-on experience.

AWS Certified Advanced Networking Specialty.

Cisco Certified Design Expert (CCDE).

Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Enterprise.
