Jetting Engineer - Utility

Department:
Anglian Water delivers essential jetting, CCTV surveying, and tankering services. Operating across the whole of East Anglia, the team play a vital role in maintaining and protecting the wastewater network, ensuring reliable service for customers while supporting environmental compliance and operational efficiency.

Purpose of the role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Jetting Engineer to join our team working on the Anglian Water network. The role involves conducting surveys of drainage systems to assess conditions, identify defects and support maintenance and repair strategies. This is a field- based role, ideal for someone with experience in drainage inspection and a strong understanding of sewer networks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be familiar with high pressure jetting equipment, but you may not have drainage experience. That’s OK — we’re happy to train you to the appropriate standard.
• You will visit various types of clients and sites, from commercial, residential, and industrial to specialist sectors like rail, road, utility, and so on. 
• A high pressure water jetting certificate would be good, but it’s not essential.)
•  Being flexible is essential too: we operate 24/7 so there will be early starts, weekend working and an out-of-hours call-out rota. 

Skills and Experience:

• Full UK driving license (Required)
• Jetting background ideally from Utilities
• Training will be provided, the ideal candidate will come with a number of tickets.
