Elevation Recruitment Group is working in partnership with a well-established manufacturing business in Birmingham to recruit an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their maintenance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer to play a key role in maintaining production equipment, minimising downtime, and supporting continuous improvement activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Being proactive within the job focussing on reactive and preventative maintenance on a daily basis
- Perform routine maintenance and repair of mechanical systems and equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues to determine the best course of action
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and implement preventive measures.
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- A recognised mechancial apprenticeship and relevant qualifications.
- Previous experience carrying out preventative maintenance activities.
- Previous experience within a medium to heavy engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Experienced in hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
