About the Role

Join a seed-stage life sciences ingredients company as a Technical Sales / Business Development Manager. You will connect the scientific team with buyers at supplement brands and contract manufacturers, helping turn commercial leads into lasting partnerships.

What You'll Do

  • Build and develop relationships with prospective customers and partners in the nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, and related ingredient markets.

  • Qualify sales leads and guide them through the commercial process, translating technical product information into customer-relevant value.

  • Work closely with the lab team to connect customer needs with ingredient capabilities and formulation applications.

  • Develop new business and manage customer accounts, using CRM tools to track leads and follow-up.

  • Represent the business at relevant industry events and travel as needed to meet customers and partners.

What We're Looking For

  • Two to four years of experience in B2B sales, key account management, or business development in raw materials, supplements, pharmaceuticals, or a related field.

  • Experience selling technical ingredients or products, ideally in nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, biochemistry, or functional food ingredients.

  • A completed degree or comparable qualification in a natural science or technical field, such as food technology, pharmacy, biotechnology, chemistry, or a related discipline.

  • Fluent English and willingness to travel; German proficiency is a plus.

  • An established network in relevant ingredient markets, including familiarity with industry events, distributors, and prospective customers.

  • Startup or scale-up and CRM experience are beneficial. Experience with cyclodextrin in formulation is also a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary range: €60,000 to €80,000. Visa sponsorship is not available.

On-site in Regensburg, Bavaria, Germany.
